Mangrove Studio is proud to be part of a new initiative led by GIZ ICONE that aims to strengthen the digital marketing and strategic growth capabilities of Cambodian SMEs. We were honored to participate in the official project launch and conference, held under the theme “Information & Knowledge Sharing Session: Boosting SME Marketing Capacity with I4D Internship & SEO Support.”
This project, implemented across Siem Reap, Battambang, and Banteay Meanchey, introduces two core support programs to help local SMEs compete and thrive in the digital economy:
- Interns for Digital (I4D) Program – a 3-month internship scheme pairing SMEs with marketing and communication students to support real-world projects.
- SEO Technical Support Package – a hands-on consultancy service designed to improve website visibility, search engine rankings, and long-term digital performance for about 15 selected SMEs.
Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring Growth
The launch session brought together small business owners, digital experts, and development partners to share practical insights into marketing maturity, CRM strategies, and SEO fundamentals. The goal is to ensure SMEs are well-equipped with the tools and knowledge to make the most of these programs.
Our Role: Delivering Targeted SEO & Digital Growth Solutions
Mangrove Studio is pleased to lead the SEO and SEM support component of this project. Our data-driven approach is tailored to empower SMEs with sustainable, long-term digital strategies. Key areas of our support include:
1. Keyword Research & Mapping
- Identify high-impact keywords aligned with business goals and user intent.
- Strategically map keywords to web content for better search relevance.
2. On-Page SEO Optimization
- Improve meta titles, descriptions, and content structure.
- Enhance page headings, image alt tags, and keyword-focused content.
3. Technical SEO Audits & Fixes
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, secure browsing (HTTPS), craw-lability, and indexation.
- Validate key technical elements including sitemap.xml, robots.txt, and schema markup.
4. SEM Strategy Integration
- Provide guidance on budget-friendly Google Search Ads for immediate visibility.
- Support ad targeting, copywriting, and basic performance monitoring.
- Implement and manage $100 ad budgets for each participating SME.
5. Off-Page SEO & Local Enhancements
- Strengthen backlink profiles, build local SEO presence, and guide ethical outreach.
- Optimize online citations, Google Business Profiles, and social presence.
6. Site Health Monitoring & Reporting
- Track site health, traffic, and performance via Google Search Console.
- Deliver monthly reports, SEO checklists, and a final summary with forward-looking strategies.
