Value Women’s Work: Branding and IEC Design

Project Overview

The “Value Women’s Work” project aimed to create a compelling visual identity and a set of IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials to highlight and support the recognition of women’s contributions in the workforce. This initiative was a collaborative effort between GMBFilm and Care Cambodia, focusing on producing impactful and engaging materials to advocate for women’s work.

Challenges
  1. Brand Development: Creating a fresh and impactful visual identity that effectively communicated the project’s core message.
  2. Diverse Audience: Designing materials that resonated with various stakeholders, including local communities and policymakers.
  3. Visual Consistency: Ensuring that all materials aligned with the branding while maintaining clarity and effectiveness in communication.
Solution

To address these challenges, we implemented a strategic approach:

  1. Visual Identity Creation: Developed a new visual identity that included a logo, color palette, and typography that reflected the project’s mission of valuing women’s work. The design was crafted to be both memorable and relevant to the target audience.
  2. IEC Materials Design: Produced a comprehensive set of IEC materials, including brochures, posters, and digital assets. These materials were designed to be informative and engaging, utilizing visuals and messages that effectively conveyed the importance of recognizing women’s contributions.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Worked closely with GMBFilm and Care Cambodia to ensure the designs met their objectives and were aligned with their vision for the project. Feedback loops were incorporated to refine the materials based on client input.
Outcome

The “Value Women’s Work” project successfully delivered a cohesive visual identity and a range of IEC materials that effectively communicated the importance of recognizing women’s contributions. The new branding and materials were well-received by the target audience, helping to drive awareness and support for the cause. The project demonstrated our ability to create impactful designs that align with client objectives and engage diverse audiences.
