Recognizing the challenges and risks associated with migration, the project provides a comprehensive mobile app to guide women through the migration process, ensuring their safety and helping them navigate the complexities of working abroad.
Project Overview:
The My Journey App is designed to be a vital resource for Cambodian women migrating to other countries. It offers practical information and support on various aspects of migration, including legal processes, safety measures, and accessing support services. Our team contributed to the project by creating engaging app illustrations and developing a range of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to complement the app.
Project Objectives:
- Enhance Safety: Provide Cambodian women with crucial information to ensure their safety while working abroad.
- Guide Migration Process: Offer step-by-step guidance on legal and procedural aspects of working in other countries.
- Promote Awareness: Raise awareness about the rights and resources available to migrant workers.
- Support Access to Services: Facilitate access to support services and emergency assistance through the app.
Assignment Purpose:
- App Illustration Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly illustrations for the My Journey App to enhance the user experience and ensure clear communication of information.
- Develop IEC Materials: Produce a variety of IEC materials, including guides and informational content, to support the app and provide additional resources for users.
- Support Branding and Messaging: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across the app and related materials to effectively convey key information and support.
Outputs:
- App Illustrations: Designed engaging and intuitive illustrations for the My Journey App, aiding users in navigating the app and understanding key features and information.
- IEC Materials: Developed comprehensive educational materials, including guides, brochures, and visual aids, to complement the app and provide users with practical information and resources.
