Client: The Center for the Study of Humanitarian Law (CSHL)
Project: Website Development
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Project Overview:
The Center for the Study of Humanitarian Law (CSHL), an independent research center at RULE, promotes human rights and humanitarian law through research and education. Supported by RWI, RULE, and other partners, CSHL needed a modern and effective online presence to advance its mission and engage with its audience.
Our Solution:
Mangrove Studio was engaged to design and develop a new website for CSHL. The goal was to create a platform that would effectively showcase their research, educational resources, and activities, while also enhancing engagement with their stakeholders.
Key Features:
Elegant Design: We designed a clean, professional website that reflects CSHL’s commitment to human rights and humanitarian law. The visual design aligns with the center’s mission and values, providing a strong foundation for its online presence.
Research and Resources Hub: The website features a comprehensive section dedicated to CSHL’s research and educational resources. Users can easily access reports, publications, and educational materials, facilitating knowledge dissemination and research engagement.
Event Management: We incorporated an event management system to highlight upcoming seminars, workshops, and conferences hosted by CSHL. This feature helps promote events and allows visitors to register or get more information.
Responsive Design: The website is optimized for all devices, ensuring a seamless user experience on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. This accessibility supports CSHL’s goal of reaching a diverse audience.
Content Management System (CMS): We implemented a user-friendly CMS, enabling CSHL’s team to easily update and manage website content. This flexibility ensures that the site remains current and relevant.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): To improve online visibility, we incorporated SEO best practices. This helps CSHL attract more visitors and increase engagement with their resources and activities.
Results:
The newly developed website for The Center for the Study of Humanitarian Law successfully enhanced their online presence and outreach capabilities. The professional design and user-friendly features have improved access to research materials and event information.
